Winemaking of Quinta do Carmo Red Magnum Wine: each grape variety is vinified separately using traditional vinification with fermentations in stainless steel tanks and in lagares with controlled temperature. At the end of fermentation, a prolonged maceration follows (7 to 15 days). The wines age in French oak barrels for 12 months. At the end of aging, the final blend of the wine is made.
