This wine originated from a plot of Baga grapevine, subjected to very rigorous cultural practices, in the challenging 2014 campaign. The grapes were hand-harvested and carefully vinified with full maceration, in a vat with a pneumatic foot treader. After malolactic fermentation, the wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by 18 months in a cement tank, as has always been the tradition in our house. It was bottled, without undergoing any clarifying or stabilizing treatment, in 2017.

Deep Ruby
Beautiful structure, freshness, and length on the palate. Perception of aromatic sensations, felt in direct nasal olfaction. Tannins present, but well tamed. Great aging potential.
Very fine and elegant, with notes of eucalyptus, resins, black fruits, dried fig, hay, and spices, typical of this grape variety.
