The 2015 Vieux Château Certan is just as good out of the bottle as it was in the barrel. The 2015 is absolute class in the glass, rich, opulent, and explosive. In this rich, brilliantly ripe Pomerol, the flavors are deep and vividly drawn. In the glass, the wine develops inky blue/purplish fruit, spice, lavender, licorice, and menthol, but it’s the wine’s textural richness and intensity that stand out the most. As excellent as the 2015 is now, it will take at least 15-20 years to reach its full potential. Is there anything else I may inquire about the year 2015? There isn’t any. This is an outstanding performance. 2065 – 2030
