An excellent dark ruby/purple-colored effort, the 1998 offers a classic scorched earth, smoky, black cherry, and currant-scented bouquet. Medium-bodied, with sweet tannin, well-integrated acidity, and excellent flavor as well as richness, it is a complex, textbook Graves.
