Reseña profesional
The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Village is a lovely wine, wafting from the glass with notes of toasted hazelnuts, crisp green orchard fruit and flowers. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, elegantly textural and nicely concentrated, with sappy acids and a tight-knit core despite its charming profile. Based on this showing, Ramonet’s higher appellations should be very special indeed in this vintage.
