Description
The Opus One Red 2010 is an icon of Napa Valley, made predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon (84%) accompanied by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. This vintage, considered demanding due to climatic conditions, resulted in a blend of great concentration and elegance, with intense notes of blackberry, cassis, chocolate and coffee, wrapped in silky tannins and mineral traces. With scores of 96–97 by critics such as Robert Parker and Vinous, it reveals balanced structure, vibrant acidity and enormous aging potential — it is expected to evolve well until the mid-2040s.
