Winemaking of Vale Dona Maria Vinhas do Sabor White Wine: Destemmed grapes, lightly crushed in a pneumatic press, with the resulting must decanted into stainless steel tanks for 24 hours at 10ºC. The wine is transferred to one-year-old French oak barrels (225L), where it ferments at controlled temperatures between 10ºC and 14ºC. Aging: for 9 months in one-year-old French oak barrels. Rabigato is one of the noblest grape varieties of the Douro, especially standing out in the Douro Superior for its ability to maintain freshness. The floral character of Viosinho and its great balance create a harmonious blend together with Arinto, more aromatic and full-bodied.
