Winemaking of the Marquês de Borba Reserva Red Wine: the grapes are partially destemmed, carefully hand-selected on the sorting table, and fermented in marble vats with the traditional foot treading. This is followed by malolactic fermentation which takes place in second-year barrels and an 18-month aging in new half-barrels of French oak.
