Description
Everything started in 1974, when João António Cerdeira planted a small plot of vineyard entirely with the Alvarinho grape in Melgaço. This plot was called «Soalheiro» because, due to its location, it receives sunlight all day long.Today, the third generation of the family, siblings Maria João and António Luís, along with their mother, Maria Palmira Cerdeira, continue the family project. António Luís has built a deep knowledge of the Alvarinho grape variety throughout his life. Maria João takes responsibility for viticulture and has successfully introduced organic production methods in our vineyards.
