Indigenous Portuguese grape variety from the Dão region. This variety of high enological potential with a resounding stature is managed within an integrated protection program, with the application of herbicides being prohibited. The harvest is manual, when they reach the optimal point of ripeness, occurring between the 2nd half of September and the 1st half of October. The harvest is done in small 10 kg boxes. These wines are obtained after fermentation at controlled temperature in order to preserve all the aromatic elegance, in wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and subsequent aging for 18 months to enhance its structure and complexity. Production: 30,240 bottles.
