Pinot Noir is considered by many as the best grape variety in the world but certainly the most difficult to work with. Characterized by a small cluster, low yield, and a thin and sensitive skin, this well-known French variety has been one of the main challenges for our viticulture and oenology team since its planting in 2001. This example from Quinta do Cidrô demonstrates a different facet from the usual by incorporating the finesse and elegance of this typical Burgundy variety with the structure and minerality of the Douro.
