Located in São João da Pesqueira, one of the best-known wine production areas of the Douro, Quinta de Cidrô has become a model of viticultural experimentation for the entire region. On virgin land, cutting-edge technology was used to plant the best grape varieties over an area exceeding 150 ha. Fermented under modern temperature control and protection against oxidation, it highlights all the inherent characteristics of the grape variety. The Quinta de Cidrô Gewurztraminer White wine is extremely original, breaking away from styles and conventions. It is an excellent demonstration of the strong character of the Douro, where even a distinctive grape like Gewurztraminer is completely transformed by the region.
