The grapes were trodden and fermented in the lagares of Quinta da Romaneira at a controlled temperature of 28ºC, where a vigorous and disciplined treading is essential for a good final result. Aged for 20 months in the cellars of the Quinta, in the demarcated Douro region, before bottling. It should age in the bottle for 8 to 15 years to acquire the complexity and bouquet characteristic of a vintage. It is a captivating wine, full of charm and wonderfully expressive, with remarkable structure and aging potential.
