Reseña profesional
In the glass, the wine, a 60-40 blend of of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, showed a clean, brilliant, deep purple color, with low viscosity. The first sip hinted at some possible oxidation, but after ten minutes in the decanter, all traces of oxidation were gone and aromas seemed refreshed. Aromas of blackberries, raspberries, plums, and mild tobacco. Typical left bank Cabernet Sauvignon flavors dominate — black cherries, black currants, and some mild smokiness. Well balanced, medium-bodied, with neither too much tannic grip, nor too much alcohol heat. Short, fruity finish. Overall, a very good wine, even after so much time has passed.
