Reseña profesional
On the aromatics, the Cabernets dominate the blend, and you can tell they’re making a difference in the wine’s construction and sculpting. On the nose and upfront, there’s a lot of concentration, but it’s beautifully balanced by damson and blackberry, with a sense of vitality, uplift, and evident minerality. This captures the limestone terroir in a way that the more concentrated approach of Pavie couldn’t. Layers of dark chocolate, graphite, and licorice provide density and glitz. Overall, it’s rather charming, and it’ll age well. 3.61pH. A yield of 31 hl/ha, with an average vine age of 49 years. 75% of the oak is new.
Drink: 2027 – 2044
