Reseña profesional
The Pavie from 1989 has a deep ruby/garnet color with no amber at the edge. It has an exotic, spicy, fruitcake-like, earthy, chocolatey nose with sweet woodsy undertones. This medium-bodied, concentrated 1989 appears to be a slowly maturing wine, long and young with noticeable firm tannin. With another 2-3 years in the bottle, it may earn a perfect score.
It’s all about the subtle texture and grace. Milk chocolate and ripe fruit scents are lovely. With silky tannins and a sweet fruit and chocolate aftertaste, this wine is full-bodied to medium-bodied.
