The Ornellaia 1992 is deep ruby red colour in the glass, with a wonderful glow. The bouquet is persuasive, with intense and fine sensations of red fruit, with an elegant spiciness and reminiscences of mushroom and bark. A balanced, open, rounded palate, with velvety tannins and an alcoholic structure which reveals glimpses of a great capacity for ageing. This is a generous vintage of Ornellaia, persistent and mineral, with a long finish played on fruity and spicy notes.
