A pure note of fine, ripe, black cherry has the slightest overtone of Amarena. The palate shows concentration of ripe but pristinely displayed tart cherry fruit and fine tannins. There is a lovely hint of cocoa to the fruit. A Bourgogne that delivers much more than its appellation suggests.
