Reseña profesional
This season, the frost did not affect the 2016 Echézeaux Grand Cru. With bright crimson and black fruit, it has a very balanced and well-defined fragrance. This has a lot of concentration and cohesion to it, which I enjoy. The palate is medium-bodied, with supple but delicate tannins, beautifully structured and precise, and a long finish with exceptional purity and freshness. This contains ten percent stems, but you can’t tell, and you get the idea that this is a top-notch Echézeaux that will provide you 15 to 20 years of pleasure.
