Reseña profesional
Quite a nice bottle. 13.5%. Perfect cork, cellared perfectly since release. Pours fairly light in colour with medium plus bricking. Quite Sangiovese in appearance. The medium intensity nose reveals, dry hay, dry leather, red cherry, dark cherry, red plum, thyme, and old oak. The tannins have settled to medium minus with elevated acid keeping this fresh. Given that I have quite disliked the last few current releases for being far too ripe, I was impressed by how classic this wine was. Fairly Tuscan in character, this could fit in well in a line-up of brunello from the same vintage albeit on the ripe end of things. (Cellartracker)
