Reseña profesional
Readers looking for a Médoc that over-delivers should check out the 2016 Château La Tour de By, a sleeper in this great vintage. Outstanding notes of cassis, spice box, dried tobacco, and nicely integrated oak flow to a medium to full-bodied effort that has a seamless, layered texture. I loved it.
It’s impressive how even a small percentage of Petit Verdot can bring color and spice to a wine. That’s the case in this wine that is rich while also stylish, full of tannins as well as freshness. Drink from 2022. Roger Voss
