Reseña profesional
The 1990 Grand Puy Lacoste has a dark hue and a beautiful smell of black fruit, potpourri, graphite, and melting tar. There is warmth here, yet it does not prevent the expression of its Pauillac heritage. In recent years, the palate has noticeably melted, but it still has excellent balance and weight. Sure, it’s growing at a glacial pace—slower than the 1998 paired with it, as Robert Parker himself noted. That means you’ll be able to enjoy it for many years to come.
