Easier to drink than it is to pronounce, at least for non-French speakers, this is one of biggest and most sumptuous Les Gruenchers that Jean-Marie Fourrier has made in recent years. Strapping, palate-coating stuff with dense plum and bramble fruit flavours, hints of fennel and liquorice and well-integrated 20% new oak.
