Reseña profesional
Aromas of wet wood, pencil shaving, wardrobe. Soaked black fruits, sour cherry, dried plum, tar, roasted oak barrel.
Volume and depth of Grand Cru Classe Bordeaux. Classy Margaux aromas.
On the palate shows compote fruits, but they are outshadowed by dominated graphite minerality. Vivid bitterness.
Tannins are transparent, acidity is well balanced.
The wine is a deep, dark, very nearly opaque ruby-red. The complex nose is of medium intensity, combining notes of tobacco-leaf, smoke & raisined fruit with hints of coffee. The palate is complex & delicate with redcurrant-fruit overlaying notes of cedary oak & development. The palate has reasonable depth & crunchy tannins give good grip. Acidity is fresh, alcohol is balanced & the finish lasts well.
