Quite a lot of toasty oak, quite a lot of intense, meaty concentration of fruit and a purity too. Tastes very young, the firm tannins spicy and robust, yet ripe and creamy at the same time, the fruit ripe and black but showing a little brightly-focused, violet authenticity. Tannins are powerful but nicely balanced, the whole picture very complete
