Reseña profesional
Even the appearance of this wine, opaque with deep ruby-red rims, is intriguing. The scent is dominated by a deep, rich cassis fruit that is entwined in a smokey, mineral background. On the palate, pure cassis extract is apparent; a sweet start gives way to a solidly tannic, yet generous and astonishingly lengthy finish. The wine has a substantial mouthfeel thanks to fine-grained tannins. In the aftertaste, a deep, smoky spice flavor emerges. A full-bodied, unctuous wine. It manages to maintain excellent balance despite being muscular and extremely focused. This wine will age gracefully for two decades.
