This is second wine of Le Pin made from almost all old vines, and it delivers a fabulous yet refined character of coco powder, orange, cinnamon, plum and cedar. Medium to full body, fine tannins that build on the finish. Fine and intense in the end. Serious second wine.
Trilogie de Château Le Pin – A blend of 3 different vintages : 2016/2017/2018
A blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot – grapes cultivated by big brother Château Le Pin. Château Le Pin only uses 100% Merlot for their wines. Apparently the first Trilogie’s where produced in the 90’ties and where only made for personal consumption. The first commercial “Trilogie ” where a little strange as they were made of only 2 different vintages – this was the blend 2003/2004 and later the 2005/2006 – 2007/2008 – 2009/2010
Afterwards, it became a blend of 3 vintages – 2011/2012/2013
