Trapiche Terrior series Malbec Finca Orellana 2015
El Peral may not be on the radar of many Argentine malbec lovers. But if you look through the pages of Descorchados, you’ll realize that we’re fans of that zone with its rolling hills, streams, and trees. This vineyard was planted in 1946, and today it delivers deliciously liqueur-like fruit with touches of cherries, blackcurrants, and especially violets and blackberries, with long, deep body. Give it at least 10 years in the bottle.
