Trapiche Terrior series Malbec Finca Ambrosia 2017
This wine comes from 17-year-old vineyards in the Gualtallary zone and has the style of malbecs grown there. Everything’s exuberant, almost decadently excessive, with aromas that recall sour cherries, flowers, and herbs. The body is broad but marked by severe acidity and the texture of the tannins is marked by those limestone soils, which instill a chalky character typical of Gualtallary. A juicy snapshot of the place.
