Reseña profesional
Scents of dried herbs, underbrush, cassis, and currants emerge from this attractively perfumed, supple, spicy, medium-bodied Talbot 1999. It possesses a succulent texture, low acidity, and soft tannin. Enjoy it over the next decade. An impressive effort for the vintage, this is an opulent, velvety-textured 1999 that comes across as a hypothetical blend of a Pomerol and Burgundy. Notes of earth, blackberries, spice box, and herbs compete for the taster’s attention. Dense, nearly unctuous, and extremely ripe, with low acidity that adds to the textural fatness and richness, it will be delicious upon release, and last for 15-16+ years.
