Reseña profesional
From the famed appellation of Margaux, Château Siran was one of only 9 estates selected for the (now defunct) classification of Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel – proof of its common regard as being one of the very best of the non-1855 Classified wine estates of Bordeaux. The wines of Château Siran tend to be fairly evenly balanced between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with up to 15% Petit Verdot featuring in the blend – a far higher proportion than in most other estates; matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 12 months. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine’s slower rate of maturation.
