The Quinta das Carvalhas is a property of great beauty and spectacularity, with a prominent position on the slope of the left bank of the Douro River in Pinhão, extending along the slopes of the right bank of the tributary Rio Torto. Being a Quinta rated with an «A» for the production of Port Wine, this Quinta produces Ports of great character from spectacular vineyards exposed on terraces where vine cultivation has been present for several centuries.
