It is hard to believe I have not tasted this in 10 years. But the past decade has been good for the wine, which is now fully mature. Medium-bodied, silky, elegant, fresh, round, and lush, here you find loads of ripe, plummy red berries, hints of chocolate, tobacco leaf, herbs, cigar box, and a touch of spice. This beauty should remain at this level for at least another decade.
