In 1998, we were fortunate to harvest the Sauvignon grapes before the heavy rain at the end of September and beginning of October. They had therefore taken full advantage of the exceptional weather conditions in August. 1998 is therefore a very good vintage of Pavillon Blanc, but it is evolving quite quickly. Drink now
Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and is typically matured for around eight months in oak, 20% of which is new. The whites of Bordeaux can easily cellar for decades and have amazing aging potential.
