Reseña profesional
Quite dark walnut/tawny colour. More closed than the 1934. Hint of curry spice but also that bitter orange and walnut intensity. Savoury and so intense and elegant and defined and angled. Arrow-like freshness. And so long.
Medium amber in colour with a broad ochre rim and subtle green reflections. Aromas of fine caramelized nuts, grapefruit zest, dark nougat, and a hint of pumpernickel, with a very fresh rancio touch. The substantial, highly elegant palate seems almost dry today, with great acidity, subtle orange fruit and dark chocolate notes on the fresh finish, which shows a vinous character. Perfect, timeless, a simply great wine
