Deep. dark, not quite opaque ruby-red with a red/purple rim. Ripe, concentrated dark-fruit aromas have plenty of cedary new oak. Concentrated blackcurrant fruit is dominated by cedar & tobacco. Tannins are plentiful & the fruit on the finish isrelatively closed, cutting the finish short.
