Deep, dark ruby-red color is not opaque. The aromas are fabulously vivid cassis fruit with leafy & minty/eucalypt notes. Lovely clean, blackcurrant & cedarwood notes on the palate are lifted by lively acidity. The wine is medium to full bodied with a beautiful, fine tannic structure. Alcohol is well in balance. The fruit is a little lean at present but the flavors have good persistence.
