Reseña profesional
I was surprised by this showing given the vintage, yet the 1971 Château Mouton Rothschild showed impressively well, revealing a youthful deeper plum hue as well as terrific Mouton ripe fruits, chocolate, tobacco, and earth-driven aromas and flavors. Nicely textured, medium-bodied, and incredibly charming, with integrated tannins and acidity, it’s not a blockbuster, but it’s a fully mature, delicious wine.
