The Cristal 2002 has scents of white chocolate, damp chalk, wild vanilla, and pepper (all typical of 2002), as well as terroir-driven truffle notes. This is a mature, rich and intense Cristal that is also pure and lively, with tremendous refinement, grace, and mineral complexity in the mouth. Right now, it’s a sublime Champagne, however it’s more wine than Champagne. Drink between 2018 and 2050.
