Pale rim. Dark ruby. Looked a bit old but smelt fresh and bracing and just slightly volatile. When tasted without food it seemed to be well on the wane but with a rich, creamy, squidgy cheese it tasted much, much better. Pure, round and dense.drink: now-2033
