Reseña profesional
I had a good feeling about the Les Ormes de Pez 1990 when I last tasted it, but felt it needed a little more bottle ageing. It is certainly showing wonderfully well here lunching at The Ledbury. A very deep garnet colour. A lifted cedar and pencil-lead nose, blackberry leaf, charcoal and finally a hint of cold black tea. The palate is full-bodied with superb balance, vibrant acidity, plump black fruits, one of those St. Estephe wines that gets the saliva flowing, but easing up nicely towards the precise, dry finish. Very satisfying.
