Blackcurrant cordial, boysenberries, plum preserves, and dark chocolate dominate the nose of the 2015 Les Forts de Latour, which also includes hints of Chinese five spice, clove oil, violets, and crushed rocks. The palate is jam-packed with rich, luscious black fruits and tons of spicy sparks, all framed by superbly soft tannins, and finishes long and minerally.
