Reseña profesional
Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the vineyards in the region, accounting for roughly 80% of the plantings. The rest is mostly Merlot, with a little Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot thrown in for good measure. Only the vineyard plots encircling the chateau, as shown on the domaine’s 1759 plan, are used to make the grand vin. Les Forts de Latour and Pauillac de Latour, both made from younger vineyards, are Latour’s other wines.
