Deep honey color shows its age. The nose was subtle without distinctive fruit. The wine is complex with a rich, mixed fruit base but without any dominating fruit flavors. They are fully integrated in an elegant wine. The fruit must be long gone and/or integrated by now. There is a bit of honey on the finish.
