The cork was in magnificent condition. The wine poured out a deep, golden colour but was clear and bright. The aroma was so complex, fresh and vital. There were notes of lavender, apricot, honey and toffee. The palate was full, rich and sweet. Sweet nectar enveloped the whole mouth. It is amazing how a wine like this stays so fresh without any primary fruit remaining. Bitter citrus rind punctuates the long, sweet finish. (2023 Cellartracker)
