This saturated deep purple-colored 2001 La Fleur Petrus exhibits terrific fruit on the attack (currants, sweet cherries, dried herbs, and grilled nuts), medium body, fine density, velvety tannin, and a plump, concentrated personality. The tannin is well-integrated in this precocious, forward 2001.
