The darkly pigmented, deep ruby red color is not quite opaque. Ripe dark fruit has underlying earthy & chocolatey notes. On the palate dark fruit is complemented by chocolatey flavors. The body has medium depth & a velvety texture. The tannins are fine and supple yet retain good grip which is complemented by spicy oak. Alcohol is a touch warming & the flavors last well.
