Founded in 2014 by a group of friends passionate about distilled beverages, the distillery is notable for using 100% Finnish rye in its products, which is uncommon in gin production. Kyrö Distillery has become famous for its innovative and high-quality approach, highlighting local ingredients and traditional distillation methods. The distillery’s gin has won several awards, including the prestigious best gin for gin and tonic at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC).
