The Krug Vintage 1996 is still considered one of the best Champagnes ever created. It’s also a lot less expensive than the Clos du Mesnil or Clos d’Ambonnay, but it’s just as good. With layers of explosive fruit that flow seamlessly to the multi-dimensional, compelling finish, this bottle is stratospheric. Krug has released another another timeless Champagne.
