The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrières is showing brilliantly, bursting from the glass with aromas of citrus oil, musky orange blossom, Anjou pear and white flowers. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, with fine concentration, racy acids, and a long, nicely defined finish. Incisive but enveloping, this is a terrific young wine from Jacques Carillon.
